Category: LabForge · Language Operations

Translation that survives an audit — terminology locked, format intact, every check logged.

LabForge is Coreidea’s language-operations platform for regulated industries. Locked glossaries, deterministic QA gates and tag-perfect file handling turn translation from a quality risk into a verifiable process — across 97 languages.

Key features

  1. 01

    Locked terminology

Industry glossaries are locked per project, so brand names, standards and technical terms render identically across every segment and language.

  2. 02

    Tag & format preservation

Placeholders, inline tags, escapes and document structure survive translation untouched, verified segment by segment before delivery.

  3. 03

    Deterministic QA gates

Every row passes 26 deterministic checks (tags, numbers, terminology, language leaks) before delivery. Failures are held for review, never silently shipped.

  4. 04

    Audit-grade deliverables

Original-layout files, round-trippable bilingual formats and per-project glossaries: a deliverable set built for regulated review.

In regulated content, a wrong term is not a typo — it is a liability.

Manuals, specs, legal text and marketing for export markets fail for predictable reasons: drifting terminology, broken placeholders, silent number-format errors and QA that lives in someone’s head.

  • Terminology drift

The same component gets three names across one manual. Brand and standards names get “helpfully” translated when they must stay verbatim.

  • Broken structure

Placeholders, inline tags and escapes are mangled in translation, breaking downstream rendering, software builds and CAT round-trips.

  • Unverifiable quality

Traditional review is opinion-based and unlogged. When a regulator or client challenges a deliverable, there is no evidence trail to point to.

Deterministic checks first. Human judgement where it counts.

LabForge treats translation like a build pipeline: machine-verifiable invariants are enforced by software, so reviewers spend their attention on meaning, not bookkeeping.

  • Locked glossaries per project

High-frequency terms are extracted, approved once, then enforced on every segment — including “never translate” passthrough lists for brands, models and standards.

  • Tag- and format-safe by construction

Placeholders, inline tags, escapes, line counts and table structures are verified segment by segment before a file can be delivered.

  • Locale-correct numbers

Decimal commas, thousands separators and unit conventions are checked per target locale — the silent errors that embarrass exporters get caught by machine.

  • Ember Lingua inside

Our in-house translation model drafts; deterministic QA and human sign-off gate every release. AI is the engine, never the excuse.

From source file to audit-grade deliverable.

  1. Ingest & freeze

Source files are parsed; structure, tags and counts are recorded as the baseline contract.

  2. Terminology pass

High-frequency terms are extracted and locked; passthrough lists confirmed with the client.

  3. Draft with Ember Lingua

Chunked, context-aware drafting with locked terms enforced at generation time.

  4. Deterministic QA gates

Tag counts, line parity, number formats, locked terms and empty-target checks must pass.

  5. Human sign-off & delivery

Reviewer approves meaning; deliverables ship in original layout plus round-trippable bilingual formats.

What does the heavy lifting.

  • Glossary engine

Per-project term locking with conflict detection, frequency analytics and client-approved passthrough lists.

  • Structure verifier

Segment-level verification of tags, placeholders, escapes and document geometry against the frozen baseline.

  • Locale rules library

Number, date and unit conventions encoded per target market — checked deterministically, not stylistically.

  • Ember Lingua

Coreidea’s in-house multilingual model, tuned for regulated-industry tone and terminology fidelity.

Built for content that carries consequences.

  • Export manufacturers

Manuals, datasheets and packaging for EU markets — consistent terms across every SKU and revision.

  • Legal & compliance teams

Contracts and filings where a defined term must render identically in every clause and language.

  • Language service providers

White-label QA gates and glossary tooling that raise throughput without raising risk.

  • Marketing for export brands

Launch copy localized into NL, DE, PL, RU with brand vocabulary protected end to end.

Questions, answered.

Which languages are supported?

Production pairs today center on EN↔ZH plus EN→NL, DE, PL and RU. Additional pairs are added per project after glossary and rules coverage is in place.

Do you translate brand and standard names?

No. Brands, model numbers, standards and codes sit on a passthrough list and are copied verbatim — enforced by machine checks, not convention.

What does “audit-grade” mean concretely?

Every deliverable ships with its QA record: which checks ran, what passed, what was overridden and by whom. Challenges are answered with evidence, not memory.
